  1. I'd consider it extremely doubtful.

Most immigration authorities like to see a return ticket and some sort of proof you can support yourself while you are there.....if you travel on a one-way they'll simply think you intend to not leave.

I'm American and live in England and it used to be exactly the same for me over here before I was allowed to stay.

I was forever being checked to make sure I intended to go home when I visited.

  2. They are very strict with the immigration laws into Australia. You will have to prove that you are going to be leaving the country at some stage, so will have to buy a return ticket. It is cheaper anyway to buy a return then to buy 2 one way tickets. If needs be you can change the departure airport when you are there.

  3. you need to show a ticket that shows you will be leaving Australia

buy a return ticket that allows you to change conditions

  4. nope !!

  5. I myself wouldn't take the chance. There have been cases where people were not even aloud to step one foot of the the airport and have been flown back home on the next flight for coming to Australia  to come with a one way ticket. It will be  also way cheaper for you  to buy an open return ticket, and then you can pay a small fee to be able to flight back home from a different Australian airport if need be.Take care.
