Can you go to any regular bank and exchange foreign currency?

Question

I'm in the Army and recently got back from Iraq, I have some Dinars left over and was wondering if I could just take them to the bank and exchange them. Thank you.

Not all banks do foreign currency. Just call some of the bigger banks in your area and ask them if they do. Also know there is usually a fee in exchanging money.
