  1. we have the british pound and only use euros when visiting the eurozone. do a currency conversion then decide whether what you have will be enough to live on for a month.

  2. we use Pounds Sterling in the UK and not Euros

coming to this country with 150'000 Euros which is 119'000 pounds will not be enough to get a house and mortgage, and live off

it is a very expensive place to Live, and house prices are ridiculously expensive as well.

and if your coming from outside the EU, you will most likely be refused, because the government is only letting people into the country now who have skills we are in desperate need of. EU citizens are above everyone else in the pecking order, and we are getting a bit full as an island nation with not enough housing, and jobs for everyone, this is why the government is taking such drastic measures.

so unless you are being transferred here for work, and already have a job lined up, the chances of you successfully gaining a work permit and permanent residency is highly unlikely

  3. We do not use the euro here in the UK, we had the good sense to stay with our own currency which is the pound sterling (£) GBP

  4. Not for long. £2000 a month is an average wage, with most mortgages, (if you can get one) costing £1200 a month, and rental £1000 a month.

150k euros is not enough to buy a property, even a small one.

You will be assigning yourself to a life of hard work!
