  1. don't I wish...................

  2. No, but they're forced to make countless posts claiming the Moon landings were a hoax on Yahoo Answers and in usenet news groups.  This ensures the rest of the world is forewarned of their ignorance.

  3. Quite unlikely, though I personally think some of the Hoaxers are at least morally guilty of libel/slander.

    i.e.

they basically accuse the Astronauts to be liars

they also accuse NASA to be involved in murder (i.e. Apollo1, Thomas Baron etc)

    .

  4. the crew of Apollo 11 and subsequent astronauts had faked their orbit around the Moon and their walk on its surface by trick photography, and they never got more than halfway to the Moon. the radiation belts prevented humans from reaching the moon.

Lack of stars in the pictures and collins saying he didnt remember seeing any stars is quite telling.

The quality of the photographs is implausibly high.

The color and angle of shadows and light are inconsistent. often showing a second or third light source was used.

Identical backgrounds in photos are listed as taken miles apart.

    Cold-War prestige

Money — NASA raised approximately $30 billion to go to the Moon. in the 60's that a lot of tax payer money.

Problems early in the space program were insurmountable

To fulfill President Kennedy's 1961 promise "to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth."

still some think it was real and maybe the video and photography was faked to show the world.

only Nasa and the astronauts know the truth.

maybe china will find out for us soon. if they don't see anything on our landing sights ,nasa will be exposed.

  5. "the crew of Apollo 11 and subsequent astronauts had faked their orbit around the Moon and their walk on its surface by trick photography, and they never got more than halfway to the Moon. the radiation belts prevented humans from reaching the moon."

Half way to the moon?  How do you only get half way to the moon?

It's not like driving to Cleveland, where you get tired and turn around.  Once you're on your way to the moon, you're *on your way to the moon.*  You DON'T come back until you make it ALL the way there and use a gravity assist to turn around.  Turning around 'half way there' is infinitely more complex.

By radiation belts, do you mean the Van Allen Belts?  They're only about 3 earth radii on the long end, the moon is 60 earth radii away.  'Half way there' is FAR beyond the belts.

  6. No. But you will be an idiot.

  7. Guantanamo Bay (however you spell it - the US torture pad..)

  8. No. However, if you're a dis-believer, you are really going to feel like an idiot when NASA launches the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter in November. It is going to photograph the historic landing sites and put to rest all the crazed conspiracy theorists out there. I'd love to see the look on all their faces when this happens.

  9. No, you'll just be considered an uneducated moron. We really did land on the moon. Period.

  10. No but youre stupid if you dont believe the moon landing, it would probably cost more for NASA to fake the moon landing than actually getting someone's butt up there.

  11. its a wonderful world we live in, isnt it?

everyone is equal.  equal time is allowed for all opinions.

Still... as my late Bro-In-Law used to say... "You have a RIGHT to your opinion, but that doesn't make your opinion RIGHT!"

we mostly have non-US people denying the Moon landing... vicious envy mixed with high suggestibility, is not a happy combination.  In the US, there are relatively few deniers, almost none whose name doesn't end in -ovich or -apadshca.

Go to prison for your opinion?  PLEASE don't bring junk like that with you to the Land of the Free!  We TREASURE our wide range of opinions... we tousle the empty heads of our Village Idiots as they spew nonsense (or sometimes, merely spew).

You are safe here, deniers... along with ghost-chasers, seancers, and dog whisperers (i still dont believe that Chihuahua wasn't CGI)

Wouldn't it be simpler if you just picked up a Physics book?  Moon Hoaxers are sitting at the party with the Tin Foil Hat Club, and the I'm Bigfoot's Baby Mama Club, Atlanteans Against Ozone, the Flat-Earthers and of course, the Republicans.

Do you really want to be associated with all those nuts?

  12. Of course you can't, you have every right to believe in any nonsense you wish, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

You might end up in a padded room with alien abductees and 9/11 conspiracy theorists however.

  13. No,  but you should be.

  14. No, but you can also deny gravity if you wish, and blame it on something more dramatic.

  15. Depends how you express your denial.  You may be free to deny the holocaust, but you have to be careful how you do it.  You may not need the same level of caution for the denial of the Moon Landing, but there are still limits as to how you would be allowed to express your feelings (certainly, you are not allowed to kill someone just to draw attention on your convictions).

Alas, even if your conviction is based on paganism (e.g., the American cults based on faulty interpretations of the Bible), you can still enjoy the protection that is normally extended to religion.

thehumanbeagle:  I am certain that the conspiracy theory responses are already written, even before the launch of the mission.

  16. No matter what you think you are entitled to your opinion .FREE SPEECH  is why we Love the US

    RIP Gus Grissom

  17. NO!! because im not in prison!! yet at least!! its just like religion you are entitled to your opinion (freedom of speech)!! because the yanks refuse to see the evidence because it would humiliate there whole nation!! but they are humiliating themselves even more by not owning up!! it will be discovered though the japenese or something will prove me right! sorry this was a simple yes or no answer not a debate!!! oh well i think your safe!!! dont worry!!

  18. Depends. If you start beating people up who believe we did or if you hold violent protests then yes you could get put in prison. But if you simply hold that opinion and dont force it upon others then no you wont go to prison.

  19. NO just mad to belive it,

  20. Of course not, there is something called freedom of speech!

All the non-biased evidence says that we definitely did land on the moon, however.

  21. Ah I've got it now, when you said denier,I thought, what has stocking mesh got to do with the moon landings?

Then I realised it was denyer.

Yes, anyone who doesn't believe it happened, should be incarcerated indefinitely.

  22. prison is too good. moon hoax deniers should be shot.

in an ideal world such levels of moronic behaviour would result in ppl failing to reproduce, so as to remove their genetic predisposition to idiocy from the gene pool. our world is not ideal, alas.

  23. No - being stupid is not a crime

.. and remaining ignorant brings it's own punishment :-)
