Google your state's Unemployment  program.

I got a free semester of college from a program that gave you a semester of college if you worked for a company which closed its' doors.

In all cases, the program or school would have to be pre-approved by the Unemployment programs.

Not likely. The papers you submit each week to stay on unemployment ask if you are going to school or training. This would mean you are not able and available for a job. This would probably cancel your benefits.

Depending on you complying with any possible requirements to seek work while on unemployment, this would be a perfect time to expand your resume.
