  1. As the first answer says, if you are arrested they will give you lodging and food.  Especially if your area has vagrancy laws.  Try going to a homeless shelter if your so interested in swearing off the roof over your head.  Might be quite a wake up experience.

  2. No, police departments do not have the funds to do that, but they may direct you to community agencies that may be able to help you.

The only help I know that police departments might provide is a voucher for gas in the event you are stranded, but that is limited to non residents.

  3. No! sorry

  4. I'm afraid not. If that were the case, there would be no homeless. Stick it out, get yourself a job and then move when you are financially stable.

  5. get a job life is not free

police do not take up after your parents quit

  6. um no... i guess you could get aressted tho and they will give you food and a roof.

  7. No.  There are homeless shelters that provide food and lodging to folks but the police reserve their cells for people accused of crimes.

  8. trust me, stay at home with your parents until you are financially stable, it will be a h**l of a lot worse homeless on the streets.  The only way to stay over at the police station is to get arrested and you dont want to end up in prison.

  9. I'm not sure the police station is setup to provide room and board for 18+ adults. Unless of course you've committed a crime. In which case, they will gladly throw you in jail and you can eat whatever they give you, though I'm not sure it will be anything like you're used to at home.

Good news however! There are a few things you can do if you don't have a job. You can go to the Salvation Army. They will give you limited room and board, but only if you're homeless. You could try getting some ragged clothes and not bathing for a week. You want to look as homeless as possible. You don't want anyone thinking you're trying to get something for free.

You could join some kind of covenant and become a Priest or something. I'm not entirely sure how that works but I'm pretty sure there is no cost in joining one. You just need to submit yourself to whatever spiritual institution they have going on.

Or, you could just get a job and find a place of your own.
