  1. I don't think so. I just got my ticket in the mail from going 74 in a 50 zone. I live in Ca. and it says on my ticket that you can no longer go to traffic school for speeding violations. 20 miles an hour over is wreckless driving. Your friend might be in trouble.

  2. I think depends on what kind of citation he got. If it was just a speeding ticket, maybe, but f it was reckless driving, I doubt it.

What was he doing going 85 in a 45 anyway? That's how people get killed, and not just the driver...

  3. i would be thinking more so jail @ that speed

  4. If I were the Judge and the driver was under 21 I would pull the license.  If the driver was over 21 I would pull the license.  Just not as long.  Think about this, what kind of roads are posted 45 mph?  Most likely a non-divided road.  Most likely a road that is lined with businesses.  Most likely a road that is full of turns.  For your friend not to recognize that 85 mph is waaay to fast is inexcusable.  So I say pull the driver's license.

  5. You can go to the MORGUE if you make a mistake at that speed.

Your friend needs to get his priorities in order.

  6. um...you can go to jail o_0

  7. yeah here in FL same

  8. Yes... if he had been going twice the legal limit (90), it would have been reckless driving and he probably would have gone to jail.

  9. It is up to the traffic court judge...If it is a first time offense, probably...If not, it could result in a suspended license...Just tell your friend to make sure he shows up in court at the appointed time looking very humble and bringing money...Because if he misses that court date, a warrant can be issued for his arrest and then he will not be able to renew his driver's license or vehicle registration at the very least...Not a good situation.

  10. Yes.

  11. i hope so , as your friend is a Clown for breaking the Regulated Speed Limit.

he deserves what he gets AND i bet it won`t stop him doing it .....AGAIN?

  12. I think you can only get out of a ticket by going to traffic school if you were going 20mph over the speed limit. I'm pretty sure the ticket wont be dropped or excused becasue he was going almost 2x the speed limit

  13. probley

  14. Yes he needs to either slow down or learn what the (45) limit is there fore.

  15. definitely. it's just traffic school, why is he scared?
