So for the spring semester I wanted to take all of my classes except 1 at cal state fullerton MWF and then take 1 class at cerritos college (community) on tuesdays and thursdays. is this possible? I will use financial aid to pay for it and was also wondering if they would say anything or if CSUF would say anything maybe. Thanks in advance.

  1. You have to be very careful how you do it.

Your home school needs to give permission and then you become a transient student at the other school.  You must be very careful not to get financial aid from both schools - that'd be very bad.

If you don't get permission from your home school first 1) the credit may not transfer and 2) the home school could decide that you've decided to attend the other college "instead" as opposed to "in addition to" and withdraw you from the university.

Otherwise, it's not uncommon at all.

  2. Yes you can, but you can not have financial aid at both schools, only one.

  3. Some places allow it, it is called dual enrollement. I would go to one for fall and spring and the other for the summer.

  4. Yes, this is possible, but make sure that Cal State will accept the class that you will take at cerrios. And make sure that they put it in writing
