Can you grown a blue spruce in shade?

I recently planted some blue spruce seedlings in complete shade, the reason i planted them in the shade, was because i wanted to block my neighbours, should i leave them there, or do they need some sun, if i move them now i wont be blocking my neighbours, i researched on the internet and some answers said full shade, some said part shade, and some said no shade, so please let me know,

The best-looking blue spruces I have ever known were in full sun.  You can verify this yourself by driving around and looking for them in your neighborhood.
