Haha...I don't know if this is really soukous, but Vampire weekend has some soukous inspired material, and I'd recommend checking out the main riff from Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa, which can be found here or anywhere (http://www.911tabs.com/link/?4732935.) It's fun to play, and very evocative of sokous (albeit in a different context)
