I need to practice acting for an audition for a new Disney Show

  1. Look up monologues on the Internet or in plays, a good website is www.notmyshoes.net.  Always read the play so that you understand the character, also it will help you be better at auditioning.  Don't be afraid to do things from movies, plays, even commercials!  Go to your local library or bookstore to check out or buy scripts for plays.  Try something from "Brighton Beach Memoirs" by Neil Simon (there's a fun piece by a young girl in there as well as a dramatic one), "Saint Joan" by George Bernard Shaw has some difficult pieces in it, and anything that intrigues you.  When you practice, do it in front of your mirror, then move on to practicing for your friends and family.  And HAVE FUN with it.  Absolutely essential. :)  Break a leg!


  2. you should try looking at the disney channel and see if you can come up with some ideas. good luck, god bless.

  3. You can look up monolouges. They're not exactly like scripts but they help with the acting skill. My best guess would be to look them up on Google.
