We have our tourist itinerary which will be Lima-Cuzco- Puerto Maldonado- Cuzco-Puno-Arequipa-Lima for this we have 30 days and it is a done deal. Now regarding our special interests we want to go Birdwatching in Madre de Dios and Loreto. Only for the birdwatching experience we will have two months which in all makes the three months we intend to spend in Peru. We understand that Peru is a birdwatchers paradise, this is the subject on which we can not find enough information. We are six travelers, married Greek couples, three of us speak Spanish quite well, that will not be a problem. Can any of you be nice and help us with the birdwatching experience: exactly where? what birds may we see? May we go independent and not with others? How much would a per day all included fee be for each one of us? Air transportation not necessary it will be included in our International Air tickets. It would help if you could please provide some links for birdwatching only.

Thank you very much.

  1. Manu Biosphere Reserve and Tambopata REserve is good.  Others are Pacaya National Reserve and Machu Picchu..  DOn't know about specific birds, but they're about 500 different kinds.
