Okay so I've come to a happy memory, in one of my novels right now the father opened a gift his daughter bought him and this is the small section, I was hoping you could give me a word to go with this part.

He gave her a delightful smile as he tore at the wrapping paper, with a fatherly carefulness. He was obviously making sure not to badly damage it. Missy smiled, and then gestured for him to go faster. I sighed, a weak ruffled sigh, and then glanced curiously to peek at what she had gotten him. After all, curiosity may have killed the cat, but the lion killed curiosity with one swipe of its paw. Dad’s face brightened as he revealed what Missy had gotten him. “Missy, it’s wonderful!” He -----

Dad’s face brightened as he revealed Missy's gift. “Missy, it’s wonderful!” He couldn't believe she remembered. It was months ago when he saw the gift in the window of the antique store.

"I can't believe you remembered," he whispered, as he swallowed against the lump in his throat. Bending to sit down the gift, he quickly brushed away the lone tear that escaped. Then standing, he gave Missy a huge bear hug and murmured, "I love you."
