Can you guys tell me the simularities and differences of the things in 1920 and now?

I doing this thing researching on the things that happened or invented in 1920. I need to know about the government, people, consumerisn, arts, entertainment, sports, fads, and extras. A few examples on each will help. Thx.

to start with the economy was in what is refered to as a false bull market. that is when there is over speculating in the banking system and people over invest because they belive that stocks are growing.

during the 1920's and now there is a large amount of consumerism in society.

sports were becoming more and more inportant to day to day life with sports heros like babe ruth coming playing baseball. just like today sports influences our life. ie. superbowl, march madness.

there was an increase in xenophopia with the large amount of ww2 refugues coming to america do to the damage caused by ww2. just like today there was fear of people and ideals that were different then the "American" point of view

the people were in a frenzy of love and fun. the flappers came about during this time. these were women who bellieved in free love and basically sleeping around. just like women today

also you might want to draw a corrolation between the jazz revolution influencing white americans and rap in modern times

differences were that the ideal of isolation due to the monroe doctrane where still in place. america wanted quarantine the rest of the world and exist on its own, without intervening in european affears. this compared to modern america which is compelled by the truman doctrane which is the exact opposite of the ideals of the 1920's

another diff is that while the 1920's were reducing immigrant jobs, modern america is outsourceing more and more jobs

People have become more and more rude.  Also prices have risen, and there are many more divorces now days.  Global warming has come into play, there are more inventions
