  1. Use straps with hooks on the ends, connect one to each of the front corners of the bed, then to the handlbars to keep it from moving side-to-side or backwards.  Use a third strap and create a triangle by running it halfway through the rear wheel (unless you put spoked wheels on it), then angle them down or back or wherever you can attach to your truck.  Your bike weighs more than 700 pounds, so use straps that can handle at least 500.

Ramps are available from ATV sources, retail and online.  Here's a couple of links to decent ramps.

  2. You will need a ramp like a w***e's dream to get it up there, don't forget the bike weight 700 lbs and its very low to the ground.

I would back to the curb or something else about a foot high and put the ramp there.

You will need the best tie downs you can find,

I use the ones that loops the nylon tie around the grips so no metal is pulling on the handlebars.

Actually, I would rent a trailer from Uhaul and

use that, trying to get the bike into the back of that truck will probably  be a disaster.

  3. back the truck into a ditch, makes the angle much easier to work with

  4. yes

  5. It would probably be easiest to back up to a wall that is about the same height as the back of your truck.
