  2. yes you can. just tell your parents to start a "student saver" account. this way you don't have to have a minimum balance or direct deposit. it will help you learn how to manage your money a lot more than just keeping it in your dresser.

  3. In order to open a checking account at most banks, one typically has to be 18.  You can often open a joint checking account with your parents if you are under 18.  Once you are 18, that account will then become independent.

  4. yea, i've had mine since i was 8.

  5. Y sure u can! my son is only 6 yrs. old, and I've had him one since birth. Hope that helped, Good Luck

  6. yup, a debit account =)

    chequings

  7. Yes, you can.

Usually depending with a bank though, you have to have a person over 18 co-signing for your account.

  8. I worked at a bank and you can but you just have to have a adult on the account with you. But the bank will try to get you to get a savings instead because younger people usally overdraw their account. But yes you can!

  9. Yeah have your parents take you to the bank, they'll probably have to sign something.

  10. Yeah. Your parents could help you get one. I think thers a first deposit minimum to get one.

  11. yea, i had myne by the time i was 10

  12. i believe an adult parent/guardian must cosign and open for you

  13. An adult must be there when you open it. I have one and I am 11!!!

  14. yup and its good to start one up. And if ur canadian then at age 16 u can get urself a mastercard also. The much music mastercard. Its prepaid like a debit card but u can use it online also, its great.

  15. yea- you can have one if your three.

  16. Yes you can but i dont think you can have a checking account and to withdraw you have to have a parent signature or some g*y **** like that.......

  17. Yes.  A parent will probably have to be on it with you.

  18. just go to the bank and tell them you want to open a savings account and have some money with you to put in it. You can have a checking account too, but a savings account is the much wiser choice. Keep putting money in, leave it grow and find an account that gives you interest. Put money in it each week and do this as much as possible, save your movey rather than spend it on insignificant things now and you will be quite well off in the not to distant fusure.
