Let's say I'm in Chicago and I activate a Virgin Mobile phone under the area code 312. I move to San Francisco 2 days later. Am I allowed to use the area code 312 (Chicago area code) permanently in San Francisco (area code 415?) Do I have to change my number and area code? Thanks.
