Can you have a high school diploma to be a LPN?

I also did research on LPNs and so I read that you can have a high school diploma.. Do you thik that is my best bet then?

  1. You have to have a high school diploma as a pre-requisite to get accepted into the program.

    LPN's have to go through a program, usually at least a year to take the test to acquire licensure.  I would suggest looking into various programs before making a decision, also, consider the two year RN program, as it opens more doors for you career-wise.  If you want to continue your education in a few years, you can more easily achieve a 4 year degree with a 2 year RN program (ADN to BSN programs and BSN to MSN programs) than you can with a 1 year LPN program.
