  1. According to Social Security, you can be on SSI, and still make up to $3,000.00 a year without getting penalized. If you make more than that, your check will be reduced by that amount. If you work alot they may feel you are no longer disabled, and then take your entire check.

  2. The short answer is yes.

However, it is very limited income and the jobs are limited also.

    Hope this Helps.

  3. It depends on the type of disability payment you receive.

  4. There are situations where you can have limited earnings and still collect disability.  You have to report the earnings though to the disability people.

  5. NO

You have to be out of work to accept or get a disability check..

But there are deals you can get baout that..

But i think u have to work limited hours or something.

  6. Yes, but it does depend on whether you receive disability or SSI.  In my state, a person with a disability can earn up to approximately $940 a month and continue to receive disability benefits.  You do have to report all earning to the Social Security Administration.   Jobs are limited for everyone in today’s job market, but there are companies that actively recruit people with disabilities. Check with your local SSA office or DRS to ask about job placement if you’re seeking employment.  I’ve been working part time for several years now and still am able to receive my disability benefits.  Hope that helps!
