  1. no not usually. if you're worried go to your Dr. but normally miscarriages you bleed a Lot and is very painful. being concerned is pretty normal. I am 5 months next Tuesday and I still am always concerned till I go to my Dr and hear that heartbeat.  good luck hon.

  2. no..... when you miscarry you have to eventually pass the baby. Which means lots of blood and tissue and pain that comes with it.

  3. First I will say that it sounds like everything is going fine with you.  But just so that you are aware, you can miscarriage without any symptoms. It is called a "missed" or "silent" miscarriage. I just had one.  We went in to hear the heartbeat at 11 weeks and they could not find it.  The size of the baby was 9 weeks. I had absolutely no bleeding or cramping. The only sign was that I stopped feeling as sick. Everyone told me that was normal but it turns out that this can be a sign of a miscarriage.  The only reason that this was not a complete surprisee was that this same thing happened to another friend of mine.  Even with this possibility, from what I have read, this type of miscarriage is rare. Good luck to you!

  4. My doctor told me early on that if you were going to have a miscarriage, you would DEFINITELY feel cramping. She described it as extreme menstrual cramps followed by bleeding. I was worried too in the beginning because I didnt have a lot of symptoms, but trust me- they will come!

  5. Yes it is possible because it happened to me. My baby died inside me at around 6 weeks and I didn't know til 11 weeks when I started spotting but until then had no idea because I still had all the pregnancy symptoms, which started to weaken at around 10 weeks. they thought it may still be ok because my cervix was still shut but I had an ultrasound and they found no fetal heartbeat and I had to have a d&c.

So yes you can miscarry without having any bleeding and cramping but eventually you will show signs of decreasing pregnancy symptoms, but mine didn't stop til weeks after the baby had died.

People always assume miscarriages are full of pain and cramping and bleeding, but they're not always. I had 2 where I had no signs at all until I started spotting, and the first one had been dead inside me for over 4 weeks before we knew or had any signs of a miscarriage.

I know of people who have had similar where they've gone for ultrasounds and there's been no fetal heartbeat and they've found the baby had died quite some time earlier undetected because all the pregnancy symptoms were still there, and I don't want to freak you out, but it's not as uncommon as people think. It's a 'missed miscarriage'.

If you're worried at all, just go see a doctor, who cares if they think you're a worry wart or you're over reacting.

  6. A miscarriage at 9 weeks may not be much worse than a normal period for some women. However, with a miscarriage you'll always pass the blood and tissue.

That said, the embryo could stop developing and your body maintain the pregnancy for a while. Then you either wait it out or the doctor can give you medication to start your period, or recommend and D & C.
