  1. No, they conditions are mutually exclusive. However it is not uncommon for women to bleed regularly during the early portion of the pregnancy. It is not part of the menstrual cycle.

  2. yes i had two and didnt think i was pregnant at all, i went for my {what i thought was a 12 weeks scan} and i turned out to be a lot further on than i thought! take a test.

  3. Ya but its very rare. But if the period flow is normal chances of pregnancy is less. Good luck:-)

  4. I know somebody who had 3 before she discovered she was pregnant.

  5. no way

  6. When I was pregnant with my first son, I had my periods regular as clockwork! It wasn't until I started to feel very ill that I went to the doctors. He felt my tummy and asked why didn't I tell him I was pregnant! I was 16 weeks gone, and the reason I felt so ill? Morning sickness, lol.

So yes, you can have periods and be pregnant.

  7. Yes! I don't know why people always ask this. You can have a period and be pregnant.

  8. No, you can't.

  9. Well to answer you question correctly. I don't think that you are pregnant but yes, you can be pregnant and bleeding. It's called early pregnancy bleeding and it is not uncommon to find that many women do report getting what seem like regular periods during early pregnancy. The bleeding that pregnant women complain about though is not truly a menstrual period. It can be called as early pregnancy bleeding. The perception of having a menstrual period (or more than one) in early pregnancy can confuse the due date and delay some pregnant women from seeking appropriate and timely medical care. In instances where a couple is unaware that they are expecting, it can be particularly emotionally challenging to find out about the pregnancy at the same time they are told that the bleeding might signal a problem.

  10. NO. You can have some type of bleeding while pregnant (and still be having a healthy pregnancy), but it is not technically a period. A period, by definition, is the shedding of your uterine lining and unfertilized egg. If you are pregnant you will not shed your uterine lining or the egg - if this is really what happens to you, then you are miscarrying, not having a period.

You could also bleed during pregnancy and it turn out to be a complication, of course. Any time you bleed during pregnancy you should let your doctor know so that they can check things out. But no matter what, it is NOT technically your "period". Some women may have what seems like a period, but that is not what it truly is, by definition.

  11. Yes you can.
