I have a restaining order on my ex and he keeps harassing me to drop it because he apparently is trying to become a corrections officer and eventually become a police officer. Can this effect his chances of getting hired? We live in Ohio.

  1. don't drop the order, stand your legal ground

  2. The restraining order is less important than why it was issued. Not to worry. They're unlikely to take him. They know they'll have enough problems without hiring a known one.

  3. They won't hire him if he has any family violence history, felonies or misdemeanors B or A on his record for a co.
