Can you have a virgin media phone line and a bt line at the same time?

I currently have a virgin media line but have ordered a BT phone line do i have to dissconnect the virgin service i have 2 sockets in hall both had a dialling tone till yesterday when one went dead (virgin line still active) BT absolutely no help. PLEASE HELP driving me mad

If you want to run both services at the same time, then you dont have to disconnect your virgin line. however if the BT is to replace the virgin line then this will need to be cancelled.
