Can you have a wedding ceremony at a public lake? NY State?

Me and my fiance want to get married out side, but i dont know where to do it, theres this really beautiful lake and its public, but can you throw a ceremony there? I'm not talking like all the chairs and decorations and c**p just us and our families and the judge . . . .

Contact the city or state-whomeever owns the property and they can tell you or put you n contact with who can help you.  Generally there is a small permit fee and restrictions to follow!

yes if it's only a few people, but you can not have chairs unless you get a permit from the city, Please check the law for NY state first.
