Can you have implantation bleeding 3 days befor your AF is due and if so when should you take a HPT?

I am happilly married and hoping to be pregnant. My Af has been coming every 31 days so I am now due on 8-8. On tuesday I had a tiny bit of spotting that showed when I wiped. I thought that my cycle could have decided to switch to 28 days but them there was nothing else. I have been thinking that my period was coming since 8-2 because I have been having light cramps. My b*****s have been terribly sore but I figure that it could also be pms. I guess what I realy need to know is how long should I wait to take a hpt if I just had implantation yesterday?

I would wait a few more days for most accurate results. Wait until morning of 8/8 and use first morning urine.

thats when my friend knew she was prego... test tomorrow, and if negative, test... well after friday!  :)  maybe sunday you should know...

if you had the spotting yesterday i would test in 3 days time as that will give your hcg levels time to rise and give you a accurate answer good luck
