  1. If your beardie is there and you get another their could be fighting.  If you get them at the same time they should be good.  Unless both are boys if so after a few years you will need to separate them. They will fight.

  2. you can have two beardies in a tank. For example, I have new hatchlings and they are all fine in the tank together. I also have some that are several months old and they are fine together. Although, as they get older, it is harder and harder to keep them together. Now you cannot keep two adult male dragons together. You can keep male/female and female/female together but it doesn't always have the greatist results. the male and female may breed and you would need to be ready to take care and feed 20 bearded dragons that may come every month. You're looking at a food bill of $200 a month possibly if you have 40 babies. Also you do not want your female becoming pregnant too early so if the female is under 18 months, it's not a good idea to keep her w/ a male. Females may be fine together but they can have dominance issues and one female may dominate the other not allowing it access to food. I would purchase seperate cages and as you grow to know your beardies, you will learn if they can stay together or not. I don't deal w/ collard lizards so I couldn't advise how they may be w/ beardies. It could be a fine match, i know people that keep uromastyx and beardies together, but it all depends on the personality of each of your lizards.

  3. Nope. Bearded ragons are naturally solitary and need to be able to get away from each other. You need to have an enclosure big enough so that they don't always see each other. In a small tank such as a 40 breeder it is not acceptable.

males fight. Males may over breed and stress out females. Females may fight for dominance, i.e. the best basking position.

No. You should never keep 2 different species together. That is a beginner's rule.

    NO SAND.

Collard lizards are carnivoruos, bearded dragons are omnivourous. In later life your collared lizard must be fed small mice and even small lizards. A bearded dragon should never be fed small mice. Bearded dragons have very sharp curves in their intestine so it is easy for something to become lodged in its curves. A mouse can be digested but it should be avoided as there are many safer insects such as hornworms, silkworms, and crickets. On the same note the tough chitinous shell of superworms and mealworms should be avoided as they are hard to digest.

Collards may accept greens but beardies must be fed greens. They may fight over food. The same goes with a uromastyx which should not be kept with a beardie either.

The bearded dragon gets much larger than the smaller collared lizard and may be regarded as food. on the same note collared lizards eat small lizards and may try to over power a slightly smaller or equally sized bearded dragon.
