I have yahoo as my homepage right now. Whe nI ope nthe browser, it opens two tabs (http://us.f810.mail.yahoo.com/ym/login?.rand=cf4t06nf4c50e). Anyway, I have changed the first one to my math website (I am homeschooled and do online math) and would like to change the second one to what the first one was. I want to do this because I am pretty much addicted to the computer and TV and would like to use them as little as possible. Does anyone know how (if I can) to do this? Thank you so much!

  1. sorry if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer....

you can't use two homepages for one browser. :(

but in opera you can use speed dial. up to 9 websites you can choose. so, you can select on of websites from that when you starts opera web browser.

if you closed your browser without closing tabs that you have opened. next browser starts, you can see that pages again. :)

you can have these option to firefox also by downloading plug-ins.

  2. Yes.  I myself use 3.  Go to your control panel click your Internet Options-->Home Page-->put in the address and go down to Apply then OK.  It will open up a new tab.

  3. With Firefox or Netscape you can have numerous homepages.  Each one opens in a separate tab.  I have had as many as 7, but it kind of bogs down my browser when I opened it as it was trying to load 7 different websites at the same time.

Here is how to do it in Firefox2 / Netscape9:

1 -- Organize your bookmarks so that all of your intended homepage bookmarks are in one single folder.

    2 -- Got To Tools >> Options >> Main

3 -- Click on the "Use bookmark" button and navigate to the bookmark folder you created for you homepages, then click on OK.

You should see all your pages listed in the "Home Page" field.  Then click OK.

    Hope this helps.
