I don't know about your country, but I suspect it is similar to mine.

Australian child s*x laws apply even internationally, to prevent perverts from going to Croatia to mate with 14 year olds, and etc.

If you do have s*x with someone who would be underage in your own country, DO NOT GET CAUGHT.

If, however, YOU are underage, there is not much that can be done against you. A 14 year old can have s*x with anyone 2- years below them, or any number of years above them. Of course, if you are 14 and have s*x with a 20 year old, he'll be prosecuted, but you sure as h**l won't.

(ANS) No.1 - I would strongly suggest that first of all it depends what exactly you have in mind as s*x (what is meant by s*x? does this always mean full intercourse or something less?). The term s*x covers or could cover a very large range of human behavior.

No.2 Which specific sexual act do you have in mind as illegal in one country and NOT in another. For example:- anal intercourse whilst not illegal in the UK would offend people in other cultures such as in parts of Africa or Saudi Arabia.

No.3 Having intercourse with a minor such as a 11 year old child (girl or boy) would be extremely distasteful & illegal in most cultures & in most countries I would imagine. Especially as in the case of Paul Gad recently ( he is in his late 50's or early 60's). the age difference was several decades.

**Just because you go away on holiday to another country or culture doesn't mean we (you) should leave your sexual morality behind in the UK.

No.  You can be convicted of child molestation or statutory rape in the U.S. even if the crime took place on foreign soil.  This law has come into play over the last few years because many men were traveling to other countries to have s*x with underage boys and girls.  Now, they have just started arresting men upon their return to the states and are actually having the convictions stand.

I think there is a way to punish someone who has had s*x in a child traficking situation.  For example if an American goes to Cambodia to sleep with a nine year old, he can be prosecuted if found out, even though the laws are lax in Cambodia.
