Can you have sugar free gum with DAMON braces?

I have had DAMON braces for a while and was wonder if I could have sugar free gum like "5" or stride?

  1. Your not allowed any chewy things/candy with braces on.

    So no, your not allowed gum.


  2. i had damon braces for 2 years, and i chewed gum all the time and honestly it did absolutely nothing. im not really sure why they tell people to not chew gum or eat candy with braces because it didn't effect me at all. so whatever gum you chew you'll be good:]
