Can you have tatoos to be an agent in the FBI,DEA,ATF etc. ?

Does anyone know if you are allowed to have tatoos are any other marking to have a position with the FBI, DEA, ATF, or any other federal justice agency of the sort?

  1. yeah but I think some might not hire someone that has visible tattoos when wearing a suit. Its kind of like how someone might not hire you because you look like you haven't taken a shower in a year.. but some will not base their hiring on looks. It is allowed to have tattoos though there are no rules on that!

  7. Yes you can, but they cannot be visible in a suit. I would say none below the elbow or knee and none above the neck.

  8. as far as i know you can as long as they aren't demeaning to the government or can be construed as gang related...
