Can you have wisdom teeth taken out and get braces put on at the same appointment?

No, you can't. Getting a wisdom tooth pulled out is like an operation and it hurts like crazy. Getting braces could be done at any tie but if you need a wisdom tooth pulled out then you will have to wait.

No, you will need separate appointments for this. The wisdom tooth pulling, even if they are not impacted (below the gumline), will still cause you some discomfort, and you do not want the double impact if you are also getting braces. Wisdom teeth extraction is considered mild surgery, and it needs to be treated as such. You will have some pain, tenderness, soreness, and possibly even some swelling. Putting braces on the same day would NOT be wise. I hope this helps.

h**l no you would be in so much effin pain you would think you where going to die . when you get braces your in so much main cause the brackets are cutting the inside of your mouth and the tightness from the wires you mouth has to get tough inside then the brackets don't hurt.then there is the glue they use for the braces that's irritating and gross also.then there is oral surgery where you are sore from them pulling four teeth out of your mouth and then the holes will need to recover.then there is eating that would be like getting punched in the mouth you can hardly chew bread when you get braces and oral surgery fells  grate two .there is also alot of brushing involve when you are getting the braces put on and that would rip the holes open and so would putting the back ring around your back tooth so i would say no.

doubt it. the wisdom pull will be painful, you'll just want to get the pain meds right away.

not a good idea. You would be in sooooo much pain after they pull the teeth out for about a week. So you don't want double the pain do you? and you want a little while for it to heal before you put on the braces.
