She loves me she loves me not

A simple little query of hope

Has left many a poor soul alone

Swinging from the end of a rope

He says I can’t live without you

It’s a heart felt rhythmic chant

But much to her great surprise

It turns out he really can’t

You’re everything to me he cries

You make my life complete

I’ll do anything for you my love

Over and over he will repeat

On deaf ears though his words do fall

For she doesn’t have a clue

She’s heard it time and time again

Of all the things that he will do
