for all of the years in high school, ive always had to explain my codition of asthma as mild. i was wondering if there is more of a medical term to it. i live a normal life with athletics involved. i play soccer, and am physically active in hobbies like hiking and kayaking. i have no problems with my rhythm or anything impairing my movement. as for anyone i get common colds once in a while, maybe two a year? usually at least once a year, with no visuable pattern of the season, i actually get asthma with my common cold. ive had it in the winters when i want to go snowboarding, and i got it last year during my soccer season of the spring/summer. i never have went through an asthmatic attack, but i always get the symptoms. along with my commom cold symptoms, my doctors have diagnosed shortness of breath and others associated with asthma. its hard for me as for any person with asthma to do anything. it becomes routine to use albuterol breathing treatments as this has been happening since i was a young child, as there is no other solution, just time. within days my cold goes away, and maybe a few more it takes for me to reach my full breath and then i can resume as if nothing ever happened.
has anyone else experienced the same?
is there a name for it?
tell me more about it.
EDIT, fyi, ive had a respiratory infection when i was around 2 if that means anything.
