Can you help give ideas for Gothic Lolita Masquerade Party?

My daughter is turning 14 in October and every year we have a theme. She is really into anime and cosplay and such... This year she's lost me on the theme. Any help/direction/activities/costume ideas (cost-effective please) for a Gothic Lolita Masquerade B-Day party would be greatly appreciated.

  1. If you can't sew, the cheapest place to get her dress would probably be

I listed these stores because I'm guessing she doesn't know about lolita fashion enough to care all that much about the quality of the materials, and even if she does, both have a few dresses with cotton material and cotton lace.

I know these are expensive, but I honestly can't think of anything cheaper. I really do suggest sewing something yourself if you're at all good at it.

You may want to try and talk your daughter out of this theme, because I doubt her friends will be able to get lolita or lolita-esque dresses just for her party.

For activities, you could try and see if they're interested in playing some Victorian parlor games, since lolita is based off of Victorian clothing, and lots of lolita are really into Victorian things.
