Question:

Can you help identify this plant?

Each of the rosettes is about 15cm/6in wide.

It hasn't flowered yet.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

  1. Based on the looks of the leaves, you have one of two things.  It is the basal rosette (first year growth of a biennial) of either a foxglove or a verbascum.

    Just to be on the safe side, I'd as when you get back from the holidays.  With new hybrids coming out all the time for flowers, many new ones don't look the same as the old standards.  =)


  2. Can't tell for sure without flowers, but it looks a bit like a species of Plantago we have around here.

    Where are you?

  3. Without flowers it is very difficult to ID a plant. try to re-post the question when when the plant is blooming.
