Question:

Can you help interpret the setting of my dreams?

The funny thing is, ever since I was a child, I have had most of my dreams set in the same place. It is a slightly futuristic looking city with a large central highway running east / west through it. There are many exits and entrances to this highway. In these dreams, I am usually running late for something important, though the exact event varies. I'm looking for interpretation of why my brain seems to have this 'alternate city' set up that it uses for so many of my dreams. Help?

  1. East-West highway= a constant, familiar thing like sun route on the sky.

Many exits=many correct ways of doing things.

running late= a fear which is not a necessary; there are the easier choices available, for example. I hope it helps.

  2. futuristic looking city = better things you are hoping for.

many exits and entrances = opportunities

You may be feeling the need to explore yourself in all sort of opportunities.  Projecting futuristic city with highway symbolize the desire in you.  You are feeling the need to show off  yourself; however, you may be overwhelmed.  This may have something to do with your childhood and this dream reflects your personalities.  You basically do not want yourself locked in one place.  You are seeking for people who can respect you, recognize you more.  However, you are also looking for ways to protect yourself.  The exits and entrances symbolize the back up plans you had in mind.  In other words, you are willing to take some risk, but you want more choices in life.

  3. You have big ideas, goals, plans...

    or

You are overwhelmed by it all.
