Hp or Compaq have all the specs you need

get a smaller screen like 14 or 15 inch and a 9 or 12 cell battery and you can get from 6-9 hours of use ( less if you watch DVD's and such as this drains batteries faster )

You can also get quad core processors as well and they are really quick
