Question:

Can you help me - MS Word?

I have a written document.

My problem is I want to edit the font of one word in particular which features frequently throughout. Every appearance of this word, let's call it "random", I want coloured red and underlined.

Is there a way I can set MS Word (not the new version, don't know what year - 2005 I think) so that I don't have to go through the whole document selecting each "Random" and editing it?

Thanks in advance

  1. 1.  Press Ctrl+F to open the Find and Replace box.

    2.  Click the Replace tab.

    3.  In the Find What box type "random"

    4.  In the Replace With box type "random" again.

    5.  Click the Format button at the bottom of the window and choose Font.

    6.  Choose your Font Color from the drop-down.

    7.  Choose your Underline Style from the drop-down.

    8.  Click OK.

    9.  You're back at the Find and Replace box - click Replace All.

  2. Open the Edit link and then click on "Find"  it then will give you options to replace each instance of a selected word.  You can go to "search options" and the "format" and it will let you choose what color you want your font and you can have it underlined.
