I have a female Pit Bull and she is a little over weight other then that she is healthy but she has this dent on her side. I don't know what it is but it is worrying me. She is acting fine and when i press on the dent she don't act like it hurts or bothers her.

What do you think it could be?

She is going to the vet wednesday.

  1. It's hard to tell what you mean by a "dent". Worst case scenario is a broken bone, possibly a rib. If she doesn't seem to be in pain, it could be a bone that healed improperly and is now a bit deformed.

It's a good sign that she isn't reacting to you touching the area-- it could just be a unique physical trait. You should still take her to the vet just to make sure!
