I've been through many MP3 players, and I got to say: either the products were REALLY bad, or it's just my luck...I've replaced MP3 players 13 times in total (what a coincidence...13 is an unlucky number!).
I'm with Best Buy and their 2-year plan. Right now I use the MPIO MO100. It's not widely used, and I'm having problems with it only 3 months after usage. My MP3s never pass 4 months. I'm deciding to buy an MP3 that actually lasts long with great functionality within the $100-130 range. My MPIO is $60. Please don't say the iPod--they don't fit my needs.
So...here's what I've got my eyes on.
Samsung K3 2GB ($79.99)

Which one's got the best performance and longer life? I'm buying the 2-year warranty plan for the new product, but I want to make sure I don't have to exchange the product every few months! The store service is getting really suspicious and it's a waste of my time.
Please feel free to recommend anything else that's not from the list (best if from Best Buy). Again, no iPods please!
Thanks!
