Question:

Can you help me compromise (and just plain help me) ?

My sister and my aunt are very stylish and not modest (mostly my aunt). They think that I want to dress like a nun, just because I want to dress more modestly than they do. Also, I take a really long time to shop with because I don't like a lot of stuff and I don't like low, tight shirts (which is the majority of what is sold). It can be very annoying to my aunt and my sister. Please help. Thank you and God bless!

  1. You are who you are. Do not try and change it. I understand the low tight shirt thing, that is why i go for the tunic like shirts, they are still stylish but definitely more modest. If you feel you must compromise just buying those low cut shirt but wearing a cami underneath so that the cleavage is covered

  2. Don't let anyone change you.  They wouldn't like it if you made them wear your style.  I think with your styles being different you need to shop at different stores.  It sounds like you are only finding what they like because the store might be that way.  I dress the same way you do and there are stores out there that only sell what we like.  Example:  Sears, JC Penny, & Kohls.

  3. take all the time u need . they have their style & u have yours

  4. Why would you want to compromise yourself to dress like them?  Just ignore the way they want to dress and you dress modestly. Maybe there are other stores you could shop at that would have clothes more like you want.  Look at the stores sales ads when they come out.  If you see something you might like to try on, then suggest shopping at that store.  If you look on the internet you might find something you like there too.  Good luck!
