  1. forest green would look good.or you can't go wrong with a neutral color.hope this helps.

  2. My recommendation to you would be to paint your walls a light tan color.  Sherwin William's has a couple choices that I would like to share with you.  First color is called "Macadamia".  Second color is called "Softer Tan" and the third color is called "Nomadic Desert".  They are all relatively close in color, but see if you favor one over the other.  I do think you need to stay with a somewhat light color on the wall.  Tan coordinates beautifully with dark green.  Curtains could be a darker brown, perhaps panels would interest you.  Just for a "splash" of color you can toss a couple burgundy colored throw pillows on the furniture.  See for yourself the colors I chose for your living room at the following site:  Good luck!  You will make this room look fantastic!!!

  3. I think some shade of khaki with or without a glaze would look great.  Or even some shade of gold would be pretty.

  4. I would go with the beach sand color.  I guess it is like a dark beige it will make your home feel cozy and it won't make it look small.  As far as the curtains try to get a dark forest green.  Try jc penney, walmart, montgomery wards, they usually have reasonable prices.

    Go to hgtv.com and check out all of the different color samples they have.

    Also, go to www.ltdcommodities.com they have tons of accessories and curtain choices at great prices.

  5. Hmm maybe a blue or a brown..it could be an earthy type of vibe in there? :}

  6. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

    I think "threshhold taupe" (# 7501) would look terrific with the green & pine furniture. A plaid or stripe drapery like one of these would look great, too:

    You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

    You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  7. Personally I have always wanted a forest green room.  You should try to have ivory with light green and beige.  If you have ivory walls to make your space look bigger, you could add burgendy accents.
