Can you help me create a menu for my son's 4th birthday?

His party is Saturday, and I am still not sure what to serve.

It is going to be outside, and it will be rather warm out.

The theme is "Little Einsteins." I want to serve something catchy sounding, like "Pat-Pat Pizza," but I don't think pizza is a good choice for this type of party (complete with kids and parents).

I thought the names of the menu items (It is going to be lunch time) could go with the Einsteins names, or somehow with music or a musical term.

HELP, please!!!!

  1. I would serve easy foods for kids to eat since theyre young..some finger foods..

You could do chicken nuggets...they have cute ones in different shapes ive seen at the grocery store..dinos and such..happy face fries..and then do something a lil more grown up for the parents like hamburgers and hot dogs and a maca salad or pasta salad..

or you could make different kinds of sandwhiches..egg salad, tuna, pb and J, grilled cheese etc and use a cookie cutter to cut them into fun shapes..then decorate the plate and stuff..make it look pretty..

if you made them into neat shapes you could think up some cool unique names to go with them...same with the chicken nuggets...

or you could make a bunch of pigs in a blanket or mini pigs in a blanket for the kids..and they already have a fun name :D

Another thing that would look super cute is some jello jigglers..in fun shapes..really colorful and eye catching look nice on a table and stuff..not too messy..

I hope I helped..I can try and think of more. If you need some more just message me Im happy to help!!

  2. I dont know their names but i do know some fun healthy foods :)

    * you can make apples smiles, *Cut your apples into slices, using 2 apples put peanut butter on each side of the apples and use marshmallows to make it look like teeth.. and put the 2 apple slices together to look like lips

*You can also Make like lunchables for the kids, so its finger foods and easy, so just some ritz crackers, your fav lunch meats cut into small pieces, you can do american slices cut into quarters or blocks of cheese,

    *do chips..

*buy a cheap circular fish tank and some gummy fish, fill it with blue jello.. its fun to look at and eat!

    *Hot dogs in a blanket

You can do a make your own happy meal (with parents help)

*Make cheese burgers, and the kids can each help make their own and buy little toys that (will be at the end of the serving table that they can choose..

or you can do wraps, (tortillas, and choose your fav meats or eggsalad, tuna which ever, roll them with lettuce may which ever you want, these can be done the night before and they wont get soggy cut them in half or 3rds for the kids,

    chips fruit salad, veggie tray

also another fun thing, you can buy a kids pool, and fill it with ice, and use one half for drinks, and the other side you can use to keep side things cold.. and make a potato salad or mac salad.. or just a good pasta salad :)

    hope this helps

  3. Do you need to serve food? Unless the party is falling over a meal time, you should be OK with just cake and ice cream.

If you do need to serve a meal, I would just do pizza. It is really the easiest, and something the kids and parents will love.

    Good luck!

  4. I think it would be a really good idea if you made little finger sandwiches. We did this for my baby cousins party, it was really easy considering i had to plan it. Since kids that age run tend to run around more than sit down and eat, they were easy and not messy. Pizza just sounds like too much of a hassle. Hopefully if you go with that you don't have white carpet! Haha. I just found it really easy to serve little plain turkey sandwiches along with chips and drinks. Afterwards we had cake and ice cream. I hope this gave you at least an idea.

  5. Make sandwiches, have chips, soda, cake and ice cream.

  6. I wouldn't get so worked up on the names, and just go with something easy, like a barbecue with either hamburgers, hot dogs, steak, etc..It should be a fun event to plan so don't stress :)
