I know that this girl was on a disney show a long time ago, she sings a song about her dad dying, and then at the end of the song she says "goodbye daddy". Sorry, I can't think of anything else, but if I heard it I would know it.

The only song I know that has that phrase in it is a old song by Emmylou Harris (I am sure other artist have covered it)  the name is To Daddy
