  1.      I would recommend the most popular, often utilized and far away the best one ever written by Johannes Brahms.

You can undoubtedly listen to it on You Tube.

                                                 Nighty, night,

                                                        Alberich

  2. Yes, the Satie is great.  (There are 3 of them, and they all sound alike, but #1 is the most popular, for some reason.)

MacDowell's "To a Wild Rose" is one of my favorite pieces in this style.

Many things from Schumann's "Scenes from Childhood."  There are multiple movmenets, so you'll have to find which ones work.

The last movmenet of Schumann's Davidsbundlertanze is another.

Also, the last movment of Schumann's Fantasy is stunningly beautiful.

Brahms Op. 118 No. 2?  ("maybe" a bit more intense in the middle than what you want)

  5. A really lovely one is Erik Satie's 1st Gymnopedie. It has a very lulling, waltzy feel to it.
