  1. GOOGLE IS PROBABLY YOUR BEST SOUCE! IF UR COUSIN WAS A CORNERS` CASE, CONTACT THE CORNERS` OFFICE TOO. GOOD LUCK!

  2. YOU NEED THE CITY, COUNTY, HER DATE OF BIRTH, DATE OF DEATH, & THEN CALL THE  CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN THAT CITY, COUNTY & GIVE THEM THIS INFORMATION, THIS IS HOW I FOUND MY PATERNAL PARENTS.......... EASY AS PIE!

  3. obituary-searches.com. I googled obituaries. Do it and you'll see plenty of good results.

  4. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2001/jul...

Scan down alphabetically to the C's..

  5. Find the newspaper company. It might cost you a bit but it must be worth it. You can ask any newspaper company for a printout of it. Its really easy, actually. The main reason they do this is to get it from the day you were born, but this can work too. Just ask them for the day. BYE

  12. I'm sure if you notify Las Vegas paper and ask for the Obituary archives  you can then search for her name in 2000.

  13. Unless someone in the family cut it out of the paper, the only way I know is to find the main newspaper in Las Vegas and contact them.  Sometimes they have a librarian who will look up such things within their files.  In my personal experience, I've never come across a site that let you access information that far back on your own, but maybe it will. And, are you sure she died in Las Vegas and that somebody submitted an obituary?  You might also need to ask about death notices.

    Good luck in your search.

  14. Try google news (sorry yahoo) but yeah google news usually has a nice archive.

    Good Luck!

  15. try this web page, if you know the date... it will probably retrieve it.

    http://www.reviewjournal.com/obituaries/

  16. http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2... this is what i can find....it's 2001 though???

  17. first you need to find the name of the person your looking for

then you find out the state and city

then you can look in the newspaper for that city or you can sometimes pending on the state get the results in the public records it may or not be fry like i said it all depends on the state

  18. Try this site:

    http://www.obituarydatabase.com/

  19. Your best bet would be to call every funeral home in las vegas and ask about the obitutaries.  Better yet if they have a website it may be listed.

  20. I didn't find her obituary, but I found her listing on www.findagrave.com:

        Nicole Campbell

        Birth:   Mar. 4, 1974

        Death:   Jul. 9, 2001

    Epitaph: Loved By All

    Loving Wife, Mother and Daughter

    Burial:

    Woodlawn Cemetery

Las Vegas ,Clark County ,Nevada, USA

    Plot: Pinyon

      Woodlawn Cemetery

Also known as: Stewart Ranch Cemetery

    1500 N. Las Vegas Blvd

Las Vegas ,Clark County ,Nevada  USA

    Postal Code: 89101

    Phone: (702) 229-6246

Woodlawn is one of the oldest Cemeteries in Clark County, it was originally formed from the Stewart Ranch, which was owned by Archibald and Helen Wiser Stewart. In 1905 William Clark purchased the ranch from the Widow Stewart. And the first recorded burial was 31 Oct 1905. The Woodlawn Cemetery is currently being administered by Bunkers Mortuary Staff for the City of Las Vegas.

    From their FAQ page:

    Q. How do I leave a flower/note for someone listed on Find A Grave?

    A. First, go to the record to which you wish to add flowers and/or a note. There will be a box on the right hand side that says "Leave flowers and a note for this person". Just click on that box and follow the steps. (Note: you must have registered as a member to be able to leave flowers and notes.)

Please do not leave derogatory or politically charged notes. We want Find A Grave to remain a place of respect and remembrance, just like a real cemetery. Inappropriate notes will be removed, and individuals who continue to leave derogatory or politically charged notes will have their account closed.

(I think this is nice, because you can "visit" her grave whenever you want, leave her messages and "virtual flowers". I have my grandparents listed here, and plan to add my Aunt's information soon).
