I'm looking for the best price to buy airfares from Cleveland or New York to Uruguay. Please help!

You need to shop consolidators against airline specials.  For that, try http://www.bookingbuddy.com -- try it from CLE, as well as from NYC.  http://www.despegar.com is another good consolidator specialising in flights between the Americas, but it doesn't turn up on Bookingbuddy so you have to search it separately.  I'll list a few more that might help:
