Can you help me fix my zipper?

The zipper on my jeans has come apart.. It looks like one side has come out of the actual zipper "handle-thingy" (sorry) and I don't know the easiest way to fix it.. Please help!

It's pretty much fahooked, I would say. Little chance of fixing it. Are they good jeans? Have you thought of maybe replacing them?

You can make a sideways cut below the teeth that came loose & making sure the pull tab is all the way down on the other side,put the cut side back in the little groove thingy like you are zipping up a jacket...when it catches,,,take a needle & thread & whip stitch below the slide tab...hope this helps...I've fixed a lot of zippers this way...
