Can you help me get BS search off of my telepone?

My cordless phone is showing BS search and won't allow me to use my phone or any of the features.

  1. Your phone is not connecting with the base station.  

    1.  Is the base station plugged in?

    2. Set the phone on the base station.

    3. Check the documentation.

    4. Check the manufacturer's website for troubleshooting for your model.

    HAS THE PHONE BEEN SET UP?

    COULD BS BE BASE STATION AND IT REQUIRES TO FIND IT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE

    IS BASE STATION TURNED ON AS MOBILE HOME PHONE TRANSMITS TO BASE STATION ONLY THEN OUT  THROUGH NORMAL PHONELINE. EXTRA ONES MAY BE ONLY CHARGERS
