How do I get my two gerbil's to mate?

i got these two gerbils maybe about 2weeks ago-one LOOKS female (spotted lilac)-because the other has noticable genital(HE is definatley a HE) the girl is named Rayna the boy Jerico. The boy is rather bigger than the (hopefully) girl. I was told by the shop owner they were of the opposite s*x. I noticed Jerico thumping a few times and i heard that was like a mating call or something. He mounts on Rayna but she goes and rolls over on her back. I was also told they wer most likely only about 9 weeks old..but im skeptical they will mate at this rate...i also read up that she goes into heat every 5 days or so...i need help...

please? anyone who can help me? My girl is frustrating me...i think its a girl...it doesnt have anything "protruding".... =/ i mean is it normal for a dude gerbil to do that to a DUDE gerbil?? the boy seems to be getting bigger and the girl sometimes looks fat and sometimes doesnt...PLEASE HELP ME (I KNOW JERICO IS DEFANITEL

Why the heck do you want to? Just to have some babies? That's a pretty selfish reason. A responsible breeder breeds from healthy breeder stock, has a mentor, and is breeding to better the species as a whole.

What are /you/ doing? Breeding pet store gerbils whose genetic/health history you don't even know? Don't be irresponsible and add to the pet overpopulation issue with poorly bred gerbils.
